Meet Bonnie and Clyde

Bonnie and clyde in the shelter in AL

Bonnie and Clyde were dumped in the shelter in Athens, AL by their owner who bought them as a "breeding pair". Fortunately, they never were bred! They've been in the shelter eight months, since May 2004. Leigh Ann from Schnauzer Love Mini Rescue saw them on Petfinder and sent out a plea to help these kids. We found out about them and put a plan into motion to get them into foster care in a home situation as soon as possible. Giant thank you to Pat and Henry Hampton with Athens/Limestone Humane Society for taking care of Bonnie and Clyde for these 8 months. They drove from Athens, Alabama to Cherokee, Alabama to bring Bonnie and Clyde to Leigh Ann who then picked them up and drove them to Susan in TN who is fostering BOTH kids right now! Giant thank you to Susan for taking them both on! We could not have pulled this off without all these people participating in getting these kids out and on the road to a second chance!

Clyde on the left and Bonnie leaning

Bonnie is super hard coated with long tail and ears as you can see

Bonnie
"see my cute smilin face?"

Bonnie
"I like leaning on dese legs, feels nice after dat shelter place for so long"

Clyde has long tail and ears and isn't quite as hard coated as Bonnie but isn't fancy and dripping in soft coat either. He will look much different once he is groomed.

Clyde
"Dis is my cute face but you can't see me in my eyes yet"

Clyde
"I'm not a big guy but I'm big enough!"
